I've but a course totally in Proform. The course works perfectly if I publish to non-LMS server. If i change to SCORM 1.2, it doesn't load and hangs at 30% loading XML Data This occurs on my stand alone and when I try it in an LMS..
Any help??? |

| Do you have access to any type of tracking utility, such as HTTPWATCH, so you can see what is actually going on with the various calls? |

Do you ever get a popup that the SCORM API wasn't found?
If it is stopping at loading XML Data it sounds like it is not finding the XML files. Did all the files get uploaded correctly? |

| Steve, it stops before I even try to upload it. It wont run before it even goes to an LMS. IF I select Scorm 1.2 when I publish, then the course will not launch. I tried it by clicking the start file and it didnt wouldn't load. |

If I remember correctly, stopping at 30% is where it is trying to communicate with the LMS... there is a pause (3sec) while it tries, and then should ask if you want to continue anyway. If it cannot communicate it may have something to do with your javascript or flash security settings (flash talking to javascript, javascript talking to the LMS, then javascript returning to the flash object).
If you haven't customised anything, then it would help if you sent the course (or even an example course of one page, one question if it shows the same behaviour for you) to Steve for him to test in a known working environment. |

| Unfortunately we have customized the template. It runs perfectly from a CD, or from the computer if I do not bother the scorm settings. |

I sounds like the code for SCORM has been changed so that it doesn't prompt you that the SCORM API could not be found. Or it is from a very old version of Flashform.
So here is probably what is happening. You publish to SCORM so that it now looks for the SCORM API. It is sitting and waiting for it, but can't find since the course is not on an LMS. The way the code should work is it should prompt you after a few seconds that it can't find it. Then you can click OK to cotinue. If this is the only problem with it, you could try the course on an LMS or a SCORM testing tool and see if it works.
If it doesn't work in that environment then it is probably broken more seriously. |
