Created a course in Unison and deployed to an SSL site. When anyone tries to run the course in IE they get a page that never finishes loading (player opens though). They can hear audio, but no text or flash. The Quiz and Games (Categories template) work, but none of the regular content (flash, txt, audio templates mostly, nothing custom).

When they try to run it in Firefox it works perfect.

I'm told by my IT folks that there are two issues. One is with IE, SSL, and Flash; the other is with IE, SSL, and XML.

If this is the case, are there any solutions other than publishing to a non SSL site?

Thanks - appreciate any feedback. This is kind of a deal-breaker for my company's selection of an e-Learning development tool, and I'm wanting to show that Unison is the right choice, but this is making it hard.

Hi Glenn,

I've asked a couple of guys on our dev and support team to take a closer look at this.

Some data that would help: what version of IE are you using? Do you see any errors in IE? Finally...could they connect with you on a screen sharing session so they could see this happening in real time?

Thanks,
Garin

Isaac,

Our internal web folks spent some time with your team and have managed to get this to run correctly, although it took a good bit of modification on our server. The problem was happening in IE 6, 7, and 8.

I've asked one of our admins (who worked with your tech support guys to get this fixed) to contact Chris and share the details of what changes we had to make to get it running. Hopefully you will have that information today and be able to help avoid this going forward. :)

Glenn
